Realia is investing in the Nordic countries and sustainability services with new appointments

Realia’s goal is to expand its operations in the Nordic countries and develop its service offering with a clear emphasis on sustainability.

To support these goals, Linda Marthon, the current CEO of Hestia AB, has been appointed Realia’s Chief Expansion and Sustainability Officer. The position is new and Linda Marthon will be working with all business units with the aim to increase Realia’s offering to existing and new customers in all Nordic countries.

In connection with Linda’s appointment, Cecilia Nilsson has been appointed Hestia’s new Country Manager in Sweden. Cecilia has most recently worked as an asset management consultant and has solid experience in the real estate industry.

“Linda Marthon has been Hestia’s CEO since 2018 and during her time Hestia’s sales have grown by more than 20%. Linda has almost 20 years of experience in the real estate industry and has worked closely with real estate investors on both the client and owner side. This experience is very important now that we are investing in growth in the Nordic countries and in sustainability services,” says Kari Virta, CEO of Realia.

“I am really looking forward to working with customers and colleagues to further strengthen the Group’s Nordic assignments and corporate sustainability work. At the same time, it is great to have Cecilia Nilsson onboard to continue the good development of Hestia,” says Linda Marthon.

The above changes will take effect on February 1, 2022. Both Linda Marthon and Cecilia Nilsson are members of Realia’s Management Team and report to Kari Virta, President and CEO.
